Pete Rizzo

Pete Rizzo, Past President

After 47 years at Rizzo Brothers, Pete retired in 2019. Growing up, he’d always wanted to be part of the family business. “All of Dad’s heroes were painters, and I wanted to be the same as Dad.”

With a hand in countless projects over the years that have helped beautify the Tristate, Pete is most proud of his involvement in the Paul Brown Stadium and Mother of God Catholic Church projects.

“I enjoy looking back on all the successes we’ve had over the years and the people we’ve associated with. I also appreciate the camaraderie we have here at Rizzo, both one-on-one and as a group.”

Although “retired,” Pete can’t seem to stay away from the office, continuing in EJ’s footsteps. He now supports the Rizzo team part time as a self-described “universal assistant.” We’re all taking bets on whether he’ll beat EJ’s record of “working” until age 85.

Pete’s Definition of Exceptional Client Service: “Listening to and understanding each client’s request. Assisting and advising clients on how we can team up to achieve their goals.”
